| Dosage | The recommended dose is: Dog: 1 scoop with each meal. Cat: 1/4 - 3/4 scoop with each meal. This dosage should be adjusted according to the severity of the pancreatic insufficiency and the weight of the animal. Acute pancreatitis: Dogs that have survived an acute attack of pancreatitis should be put on an easily digestible diet supplemented with Zymosan. Chronic pancreatitis: Treatment must be continued for life. Increase the dosage until the desired result is achieved. It is advisable to give patients easily digestible food three times a day with sufficient protein and carbohydrates of high quality and with a low fat content. |
